The Whisky Bond holds only the minimum required amount of personal data to enable us to deliver our products and services and to share information about our workspaces, eventspaces, projects, upcoming events and opportunities and possible employment/internship opportunities.
We will only store this information to ensure swift and prompt replies upon receipt of any requests, we may use the email address you provide to send a copy of any quote, payment, invoice, or bill we generate.
We may use you phone number and email address to contact you in the case of any issues and future related availability of spaces / bookings / participation.
We hold this personal information for the purposes of dealing with your requests and enquiries and in order to provide you with a better service.

How we acquire it

We collect personal information when you ask to be added to our mailing list, when you; enquire/hire workspace or event space; become a member of our space; apply and/or attend one of our events / projects; or attend an event or workshop we host in collaboration with project partners.

ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics and WordPress services to track visits to our site and to generate traffic reports. This helps us to find out what projects, events and blog posts our visitors enjoy and also helps us to improve the site.

COOKIES

Our site utilises common third party plugins that use cookies to enable their functionality. For example, we use social sharing buttons to enable visitors to share our events and exhibitions on social media. These social media share buttons may employ their own cookies to fulfil their functionality.

We we hold it

When you submit information via email or using one of our contact forms we use it to deal with your request, and where necessary, to fulfil any requirements you have for hiring the space, running your event, attending an event or participating in a project.

To send out occasional emails to tell you what we’re up to and share relevant news and opportunities.

We may retain communications data sent via email or through our contact / application forms for up to 10 years.

Your rights

You can request to receive an exported file of any personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you want to unsubscribe or stop receiving any correspondence you can do so by clicking ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of our mail-out or replying STOP at any time.
We will not disclose or sell this information to any other organisation without your permission.

Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Scotland and you agree that the Scottish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute.
