Our annual Summer Party was included in the bill for the inaugural Glasgow Canal Festival, a fun-fill day of dragon boat racing, street food, parkour, canoe trials and our very own makers market.
The festival drew together the eclectic mix of canal-side organisations to celebrate the waterway linking them all together: the Forth and Clyde canal.
At TWB, we hosted our first makers market, gathering together our talented tenants and GSS members with invited local artisans and makers to sell their artworks and products.
The event was a real success, setting the bar high for future markets at TWB.
Glasgow Sculpture Studios hosted a mass sculpture club for kids of all ages, alongside a hand casting workshop and tours of the building.
We topped the day off with a celebratory drink in the cafe, to tasteful tunes supplied by Matthew Williams.
A truly spectacular day, despite the typical Glasgow Summer downpour! Hope to see you there in 2018.
