Kate’s had fiction, poems and visual poems published in journals and exhibitions and held two literature residencies in Cove Park (2014) and Vermont Studio Center (2015). A recipient of three Creative Scotland funding awards, for fiction and poetry, Kate’s also a literacy volunteer and chairs festival events. She was writer-in-residence at the Wigtown Festival (2009) and gained a Masters in Creative Writing at the University of Glasgow (2008).
