Artist and fashion designer Heather Archibald will run a taster workshop for a potential course exploring the importance of play in the creative process in the Distillery on Wednesday 12 April from 6 – 9 pm.
An ability to play, explore and challenge the norms is important. Finding a way to express your thought process is important in all creative disciplines including: fashion, design and the arts.
Over the 3 hr workshop participants will create a body of work responding the theme PLAY, and explore how to present this work in a meaningful way.
This workshop is suitable for practicing artists/ designers, graduates, and students. This workshop is the first in a series of workshops which helps develop the research and design process, and conceptual thought. Workshops help with idea generation, and promotes cross disciplinary practice.
Tickets for the taster workshop are available via Eventbrite here.
